The BillyOh range includes specifically designed buildings for home office solutions at very affordable prices. The BillyOh Brighton Garden Office Log Cabin is a further demonstration of this and is available in 2 sizes. Each different style ensures that this building can be adapted to suit almost any garden as a personal home office. Increase productivity and take the stressful commute out of work, by taking a simple stroll down the garden with this modern affordable home office option. The Brighton is perfectly suited for 1 to 2 people to work from home, while the Brighton Extra is suitable for up to 3 people.

Overview

The Brighton and Brighton Extra Garden Office can both be assembled in a number of styles changing the side window positions to suit most garden layouts and styles. The building is a perfect platform to customise further to exactly how you require, from running electricity from the house to carpeting the floors. We have highlighted the main areas based on customer questions and our years of experience in the garden buildings market.

Electrical Supply: The best method for powering the log cabin is to consult an electrician, who can best advise on taking the existing supply from your house and running it down the garden to your office. This can then power lighting, wall heaters and computers etc.

Cabin Insulation: The 19mm Cladding offers a warm enough environment during the summer as the timber is a good heat insulator, but without additional heating source will not be suitable during the winter months. In addition to this such additions can be added, such as under-floor heating, roof insulation or increasing the wall cavity. In the case of the wall cavity it is best to create a free standing internal structure that will still allow the logs to move, or fix each board to the baton to ensure that no board moves.

Glazing Modification: The building comes with Styrene as standard, but there is no reason why a local glazer could not be contacted to install glass. We offer styrene due to the issues of distributing glass over long distances causing breakages. Beading is supplied with this building which could be used to hold a single pain of toughened glass.

Further Bolstering the Floor: The Solid sheet floor provides a simple sturdy base suitable for most uses, but for everyday extended use we would recommend reinforcing the floor further. The simplest way of bolstering the floor is by simply adding extra bearers. Increasing the number of bearers ensures that the solid sheet floor is bridging a smaller gap and therefore substantially stronger at little cost. In addition the putting down of carpet or laminate flooring may add a more solid and luxurious feel underfoot.

Added Security Due to the nature of an office requiring a computer we understand that security is paramount for the peace of mind with computers and electronic items. A simple addition is the use of blinds ensuring no one can see what is inside. In addition more substantial locks , Security lights, Alarms, etc can all be acquired from local DIY stores.

Treatment and Finishing: Due to the building coming in a natural finish these is a completely blank canvas to either paint, varnish or apply treatments to the building. Customise the building aesthetically how you see fit to suit your own tastes. Check out our treatment options including; Cedar Red, Dark Brown, Harvest Gold and Evergreen.

Standard Features

19mm Interlocking Boards – Single T&G boards provide solid wall and framework either for a standalone structure, or to add to depending on requirement.

Interlocking Construction – The Interlocking building method provides rigidity and strength as each board holds the previous board in place. This also allows flexibility in the window layout, making many styles possible from one product.

11mm T&G Floor - We Provide you with T&G floor boards, which provide a sturdy and aesthetic finish.

11mm T&G Roof - The roof is constructed using 11mm Tongue and Groove boards nailed into place on pre-cut roof purlins.

Styrene Glazed Doors/Windows - There are 3 Windows, which are part bottom opening and part fixed windows, constructed with integral Georgian styled glazing bars. Glazing comes as a single sheet for ease of assembly.

Fully Glazed Style Single/Double Door - The standard Brighton is supplied with a single door and the Brighton Extra is supplied with a double door. These provide plenty of light with integral Georgian glazing bars as standard, while adding security with a boarded section. Styrene Glazing comes as a single sheet for ease of assembly can be upgraded by any glazer to single glazed toughened glass.

Traditional English Styled Roof Line - Roofline similar to those of clasic and modern English styled design.

Roofing Felt as Standard - The BillyOh Brighton Home Office Log Cabin comes as standard with all felt covering and fixings as standard at no extra cost. The felt used is a green mineral felt which is of higher grade than cheaper felt types such as sand felt.

Designed and Made in England - The BillyOh Brighton Home Office Log Cabin has been designed using state of the art software in the UK and manufactured in our own UK based factory. This ensures that our product knowledge is high and our delivery lead times are kept low.

Brighton Office: 1 to 2 Desks

19mm T&G Wall Timber Thickness:

The BillyOh Brighton and Brighton Extra Home Office both use 19mm Pre-machined T&G boards. These are cut to length so require no additional customisation or cutting to size.

Interlocking Construction:

The timber uses an interlocking style, where each board is held in place by the next this adds to the rigidity of the building and allows the timbers to move naturally. The added benefit of this feature is that the side window can go on the left or the right side.

The manufacturing and design all take place in the UK by trained professionals with years of combined experience. The wall timbers are complimented with framing for rigidity and floor and roof panels are made to measure.
